  • Automobile exhaust

Carbon Dioxide

Carbon Dioxide causes the following symptoms:

  • Headaches

  • Drowsiness

  • Functioning at lower levels

Asbestos Fibers

Asbestos is knowing to be linked to lung cancer, particularly mesothelioma. Asbestos is commonly found in the following materials used in buildings before 1975:

  • Ceiling tiles

  • Shingles

  • Fireproofing materials

  • Floor tiles

  • Heating Systems

  • Pipe Wrap

  • Taping Muds

  • Insulation materials


High humidity levels contribute to multiple IAQ issues. Common humidity problems include mold, rot and mildew.

Volatile Organic Compounds. Volatile Organic Compounds are chemical pollutants. They include:

  • Paints

  • Cleaners

  • Scented Candles

  • Solvents

  • Formaldehyde
